The United Arab Emirates has had trade links with Sub-Saharan Africa that have spanned across several centuries. In light of the historical association that still exists today, I interviewed Bisi Silva for Mojeh Magazine discussing her curating of the Art Dubai 2013 Marker programme which focused specifically on West Africa.
